Comment On Of Books Doctor Who: Festival of Death (Past Doctor Adventures #35)
Started off great but after 50 pages or so I just lost interest. There was too much going on, but not enough to hold my attention. Ended up skipping to the end and I still didn't feel I had missed much.

With the new series being instantly popular many shops wanted to cash in on the success, including The Works which had numerous Past Doctor Adventures at 3 for £5.I instantly grabbed as many as I could and these novels instantly rekindled my love of reading, I must revise these again at some point but have currently rated them to the best of my knowledge.

Just couldnt relate to the characterisations in this story, but have to say its neither my favourite Doctor, nor my favourite period of the Fourth Doctor (Romana Mark 2; K9). The Doctors dialogue also didnt seem to work for me; didnt quite capture Tom Baker. The plot itself weaves its way along at a cracking pace and I was enjoying it more in the latter half.

An excellent example of how a time travel story SHOULD be! Great story, Mr. Morris!

What have we here? The Doctor, Romana and K9 arrive at a space station caught in a wormhole. The station is in disarray after a zombie attack which killed most of the passengers; however the survivors recognise our Time Lord travellers and thank them for the pivotal role they played in saving the station and all their lives. Although the station commander seems intent on having them arrested for sabotage. So The Doctor Romana and K9 have no choice but to go back in time to carry out in the past

Started off kind of slow as it jumped into the middle of an adventure. But being the Doctor and Romana, they hadn't yet gotten around to the beginning yet.The end was good, but not quite as satisfying as other Doctor Who books.
