Ilustration In Pursuance Of Books Midnight Sins (Midnight #2)

Cara Maloan doesn’t look like a monster. In fact, the gorgeous blond nightclub singer possesses heavenly attributes that make Atlanta detective Todd Brooks sure there’s a higher power somewhere. But a twisted killer is leaving a trail of bodies in seedy hotel rooms across town. The male victims show no wounds–it’s as if the life was simply drained from them. And right now, mysterious Cara is Todd’s only suspect. Cara knows it’s foolish to be so drawn to a man who thinks she’s a murderer. She also knows Detective Brooks would find the truth even harder to swallow. Cara is one of the Other, a race of powerful, paranormal creatures who live among humans. Cara’s particular abilities make men putty in her hands–all except this rugged, sexy-as-hell detective. But now someone, or something, has singled Cara out for serious payback… As uneasy trust gives way to mind-blowing desire, Cara and Todd will go head-to-head with a killer whose mission is deeply personal, and who’s determined to serve up revenge that’s hotter than hellfire, and just as deadly…

Crit About Books Midnight Sins (Midnight #2)
very typical theme and style of Ms. Cynthia Eden. If you already love the way she writes then you will never be disappointed with her book.4.5 stars

A succubus looking for romance and not just sex! I loved it! It was so adorable. I was hoping to know more of Todd's story. Cynthia Eden is fantastic!

This review was posted at Under The CoversI enjoyed the first book in the series ok, and this book ended up feeling a bit the same for me. I do feel there's a recurring theme so far of "cop" falling in love with "main suspect" in a supernatural murder investigation, and I'm glad the next book is a bit different. This time around we meet Cara, a succubus who hates who she is and what she does, so much that she's decided to remain celibate, and she gets the energy she needs to survive from the

Cara is being set up for a string of murders she definitely didn't commit. Todd's gut is telling him the beautiful woman can't possibly be a murderer, but he knows that anyone can kill if they're pushed hard enough. With every step they take towards proving Cara's innocence, the take several back when new evidence pops up.But what will the very human detective think once he realizes Cara is a succubus? I really love Cynthia Eden's PNR. She always has such intricate plots and well-developed

Solid 3.5 stars MIDNIGHT SINS had interesting components to the story that kept me interested. First, Ive never read a romance about a Succubus and secondly, I find paranormal romances with the female being the one with power to be either really good or really bad. I tend to like my men to be supernatural and my females to be human. Luckily, I enjoyed Cara and Detective Todd Brooks to be a pretty great pair and I enjoyed Colin and Emilys appearances too. Numerous deaths of healthy male have

The hero, a cop who's world has just been shaken after finding out about the existence of paranormal creatures, his partner included in them, is trying to solve the murders of 3 men. His search leads him to the heroine. She's absolutely stunning and he's irresistibility drawn to her. This is in part because they have mad chemistry, but also because he's a succubus. The heroine has never relished in what she was and makes every attempt to suppress her pheromones and refrain from sexual acts.

Signed Copy Won From Author on Denise Agnew's Chill Me Thrill Me Contest in early October I chose Midnight Sins the 2nd book in the series because am very fond of reading stories that feature a succubus as the main female character.. I did well, Cara Maloan is a strong, sexy addition to my list of favorite heroines in the books I have read in the last few years... Not only is this book interesting because of the Paranormal Romance which takes place between Cara and Detective Todd Brooks, it
