Most James Patterson/insert co-author here books are quick reads but not really very memorable, I brought this one on my overseas flight to pass the time. It's kind of like eating a bag of potato chips- you tear through it quickly but are left feeling a little guilty for having spent so much time/calories on something not so beneficial. And you can't even remember it the day after.Michael Bennett, superhero detective, along with Emily Parker the FBI agent almost single handedly take on an aging

I seriously love this Michael Bennett series. I dare even say more than I did the Womans Murder Club series. Bennett is a completely likable character and is easily endearing to readers. His love life is very odd right now but that just adds to the ongoing story. The plot was so engrossing that I could not put it down. I ended up reading it in one sitting. My quick and simple overall: a fast-paced suspense with a perp who is targeted the children of the rich.

I'm really enjoying this series. It's nice to have a Patterson book that is back up in the four star range again. It has a lot to do with the co writer Im sure. I mean it says Patterson but.... I'm.pretty sure that's about all he wrote

I have read all of James Pattersons books and to be frank they can be hit and miss. I have also read the two previous Michael Bennett novels so I already had some background on the characters which always helps. The second book in

This was the first book in the Bennett series that I've read, I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to reading the rest in the series.

I relistened to this novel and liked it much better the second time than the first. 5 of 10 stars

Michael Bennett is called on a case that is believed to be a kidnapping, a teenaged child of one of NY Citys elite . When the child is found at an old school desk in a semi-abandoned building with a bullet through his head; Bennett realizes that this is far more than a simple kidnapping. When a second teenaged child turns up missing, Bennett is directed to a Mosque where he finds the distorted body of another dead child folded to fit in an old refrigerator. When a third child disappears, an
