It's becoming a habit to post reviews for Seanan McGuire books with five stars. It's almost reflex -- because she's never let me down so far... I've never reviewed her less than four stars! The Aeslin Mice are the bomb, and my fervent wish (should I ever run across a genie or something) is that I want a colony of Aeslin mice. 4.5 stars. This series has definitely grown on me! I enjoyed the first in series but still felt slightly ambivalent. It can take a while to get used to a new world and cast of characters. So Im really glad I picked this next one up. I love the fact that the Price version of family is not just one of blood, but of love and those you pick up along the way, regardless of genetics.
