IN THE GOD'S HANDS Five friends continue their desperate search for Princess Sakura's memories, which have been scattered across parallel worlds in the form of magically potent feathers. But this time Syaoran and Sakura are pulled from a tumultuous land where two factions battle over a statue of the God of Calamity - and into the realm of that very divinity! Now they find themselves on one side of a long, bloody conflict between two gods and their minions. Unfortunately the experienced fighters in their band, Fai and Kurogane, seem to be aligned with the opposition. In a war that can be ended only by the death of a god, how can Syaoran and Sakura hope to stay alive?

Meh, I don't think I'm going to keep reading this series.

After long period of not reading the manga, the story confused me a bit. They are now in Shara country and Syaoran and Sakura separated from Fei and Kurogane. There is a war between clans. There are some bits of information for further volumes' events, also now it is confirmed that Syaoran has a clone. I am all like: wtf happening here? Hope the story make sense in future volumes.

So I actually found this in a thrift store and it was only 4$:) The volume had a lot more information handed out on the world that they were currently in, but left a cliffhanger in the end. I usually don't enjoy cliffhangers so I was pleasantly surprised when I enjoyed it.

October 2013: 3.5 Stars (Shown as 4)This volume was so, so confusing!! Argh, it's so frustrating how much escaped me!! According to my brother, who is ahead of me in this series, a lot of it gets explained, but only vaguely.. Hmm :/Meanwhile, WHERE THE HECK ARE FAI AND KUROGANE?! I miss them :(Although, that tender moment between Sakura and Syaoran.. DAWWWW :3 and Mokona's so frigging cute!!!!

Some of the battle scenes were hard to make sense of due to the art and lack of color.

Amazing Twists and the person in the tank has a name and they are connected to a certain person. Also, Syaoran's right eye is emphasized more and it was surprising to me. I like the whole storyline with the past and present thing. Also, its interesting to learn about Syaoran's past because nothing is known about him in the beginning so they're showing more of his background.:)

See my review for volume 1.
