Not much to add to the other reviews. The story goes on very well. No new paranormal creatures, but we do get a murder mystery inside a couple of others that makes for a complicated mess. I wasn't terribly happy with Harris letting Sookie find out information & purposely leaving us in the dark for so long. It seemed like a cheap way to draw out the suspense. The book is told in the first person, after all. I think it would have been a stronger story if we'd known what she did.Parker againReview to come!
Let me just say, right off the bat, that I had a love/hate relationship with this installment of Sookie's life. This one was another good read, story-wise, but it frustrated the hell out of me. We're steadily learning more and more about Sookie, and her life and love(s), and not all of those things are good. ❤ 4 Definitely Dead Stars ❤I thought I would like this book more. :(I guess I am not very sympathetic to Hadley, Sookies cousin and ok it was a nice change of scenery being as this was set in New Orleans. But I dont know I just didnt love it thought that one scene with Quinn.. Fans face.. That was hella hot. I did like the interaction that Sookie had with the Vampire Queen.
